WHAT “SKELETON COAST” MEANS HERE
One coastline, several very different experiences.
Travellers often use “Skeleton Coast” as a broad label for Namibia’s dramatic Atlantic coast. In practice, Henties Bay fishing, the protected Skeleton Coast National Park and Sandwich Harbour are different places with different access rules and trip styles.
We prefer to describe each trip accurately. Henties Bay is our core local fishing base. Sandwich Harbour is a separate dune-and-ocean 4x4 experience south of Walvis Bay. Longer remote expedition routes require their own planning, permits and support.
